Form Properties
The following are properties that describe an on-screen data entry form created in Label Design The interface for data entry by a data provider. A form is a separate object in Spectrum, but it can be combined with a label template so that the form serves as the Form view for the label template. properties. The properties of a form can be displayed by clicking the Form canvas when editing a form or by clicking the icon for a form in an application.

The color of the line. You can select a color or enter a hexadecimal RGB color value. Note: Color printing is possible only if supported by the device and device driver. |

Fill Color |
If no field or area is selected, the background color of the label. If a shape is selected, the color inside the line of the shape. This color is displayed on-screen only if Apply Fill is selected when editing this property. For the background color of a label, this color is printed only if both Apply Fill and Print Fill are selected. Note: Color printing is possible only if supported by the device and device driver. |

A field in the Form that allows Data Providers to select a device to be used when printing, a folder, a label template, or a user. Example A User Selector control can be added to a form on an application that is used in a workflow template. When a label template is progressed through the workflow, a user can click the browse button and choose a user from the dialog box to send the label template to for review. |

Prompt |
Field in the Form that allows Data Providers to enter data. Tip: For most on-demand data entry, a Prompt field is recommended. However, a Text Box Prompt field is appropriate for situations in which Data Providers are expected to retrieve lengthy data from a database and then manipulate the data retrieved. |

You can preview the output of this label template. You must select a device and then run the Design Print command for some options to become active.
