Application DesignForm Properties

The following are properties that describe an on-screen data entry form created in Application Design . The properties of a form can be displayed by clicking the form canvas.

Actions

An event such as the clicking of a button or the submission of text input via a prompt can serve as a triggerClosed A means of running an action, rule, or data service. Includes a trigger source if interactive (such as a button, a prompt, or a form) and a trigger event (such as clicking a button, entering text at a prompt, loading a form, or submitting a job). For example, you can specify a particular button as a trigger source that Data Providers can click to perform a query of a database. to run an action, rule, or data service. The loading of a form or an application can also serve as a trigger to run a rule.

To display a list of all actions for the form or selected field, click View > Actions.
