Assign User to a Role

Use this procedure to assign a user to an existing role in Smartflow. As an alternative, you can achieve the same result if you Assign Role to a User.

  1. In Admin  , from the Access Admin Function primary drop-down list, select Roles. From the secondary drop-down, select Add/Edit Role, and then click Go.
  2. In the Add/Edit Role page, next to the role, click Assign User.
  3. In the Associated Users dialog box, click Edit.
  4. In the Not assigned list, select the user, and click Add to move to the Active Users of Role list.
  5. To give a user the permission to manage a role, select the user from the Active Users of Role list, and click Add to move them to the Role Managers list.
  6. Click Confirm to save changes to the role, and then close the Associated Users dialog box.
