User Interface: System Administration
The following options can be managed by using the System Administration page in System

Whether to allow users to sign in to Spectrum. Allow users to log in: Allow users to access Spectrum (default). Do not allow users to log in: Prevent users from accessing Spectrum. |
Force Immediate Log Off: Log Off All Users |
This action causes all users that are currently logged in to Spectrum to be immediately logged off. Any unsaved work is lost. |
Database Archive Function: Validate Archive Function |
This action can be used to check that the database archive tables have been successfully created. Opens an Archive Table list. |
Authentication Rules
Note: To perform this task, you must be signed in as the ClientAdmin or SuperAdmin user. For more information, see Controlling Access to System Settings.

Password Pattern (Regular Expression) |
A regular expression that defines the minimum and maximum number of characters in a password. For more information, see Password Pattern Examples. |
Password Contents (Regular Expression) |
A regular expression that defines the characters allowed in a password. For more information, see Password Contents Examples. |
Custom Password Error Message |
The message to display to users if their new or changed password does not meet the criteria specified in Password Pattern and Password Contents. This message should inform the user what is required for a valid password. Example Password must be at least 8 characters and must contain at least 1 number. |
Maximum Login Attempts |
The number of tries a user has to enter the correct password for their user account before being locked out. |
Enable Two-Factor Authentication |

Save |
Activate the new or changed option in the Authentication Rules panel. |
Undo |
Undo any pre-saved changes made to the options in the Authentication Rules panel. |
Object Promotion Whitelist
Object Promotion Whitelist allows administrators to manage which Spectrum Application Servers are permitted to promote To transfer a copy of objects specified in a promotion configuration from the source server to the destination server. objects to this Spectrum Application Server. This is the list of Spectrum Application Servers that may act as source servers when this Spectrum Application Server acts as the destination server. For information about configuring an object promotion whitelist, see Configure a Destination Server (Direct Access).
Note: The Object Promotion Whitelist is not used when performing promotion using indirect access.

The list of Spectrum Application Servers that are permitted to promote objects to this Spectrum Application Server. These servers act as source servers during a promotion attempt for which this server acts as the destination server. |
Add |
Add a Spectrum Application Server to the object promotion whitelist so that it is permitted to promote objects to this Spectrum Application Server. Note: When adding a Spectrum Application Server, enter only the server name (not a URL or IP address) as it appears in Access Control |
