Spectrum User for Loftware Integration - Oracle EBS

If Loftware Integration - Oracle EBS is being used to integrate Spectrum with Oracle, then a Spectrum user must be specified to send print jobs from Oracle to the Oracle integration in Spectrum.

This Spectrum user is not automatically created by the installation of Loftware Integration - Oracle EBS. A Spectrum administrator must create this user in Spectrum before you can use Oracle integrations that are managed by Loftware Integration - Oracle EBS. Additionally, an Oracle administrator must specify this Spectrum user in the configuration of Loftware Integration - Oracle EBS.

Note: Do not use this Spectrum user as a Run As user in Oracle integrations.

A Spectrum administrator must create this user in Spectrum and assign it at least the following permissions:

  • User permission for the root folder in Spectrum: Read permission for Integrations.
  • Role permission: The user must be assigned to a role in Spectrum that has Read permission for Integrations.

Note: A user Name can include letters and numbers. Additionally, the following characters are permitted but cannot begin or end the name: hyphens, underscores, and periods. The maximum length is 50 characters.
