Custom Commands for Toshiba Devices

If the Family selected is Family Driver and the Model selected is TPCL Tec Printer Command Language, a programming language from Toshiba for communication between a computer and a printer., or if the Family selected is Toshiba, then the Custom Commands tab displays the following options. Note: You can enter lower ASCII control codes by using mnemonic text representation. The mnemonic text must be upper case. For example, you can use <ESC> for an escape character or <HT> for a tab character. To enter upper case text that includes < or > but should not be converted to a control code, enclose the text with << and >>. For example, <<US>> is converted to <US>. Lower case or mixed case text enclosed in < and > will remain as is and will not be converted into a control code. For a list of common control codes, see Lower ASCII Control Codes.

Command Location

You can configure custom TPCL commands to occur in specific locations within the job.

Option	Description
Before Label	Command to occur as the first command sent to the device for each label.
After Image Clear Command	Command to occur immediately after each Image Clear command.
After Images	Command to occur immediately after the portion of the print stream containing information about images.
After Format	Command to occur immediately after the portion of the print stream containing information about the fields.
After Data	Command to occur immediately after the portion of the print stream containing data that corresponds to the fields.
After Label	Command to occur as the last command sent after each label.
