Advanced Options for QuickLabel Devices
If the Family selected is QuickLabel and a specific model is selected, then only options appropriate to that model are displayed. For more information about drivers and Loftware Spectrum®, see Managing Devices.

Rendering Intent |

Special Paper |
When the stock type is Mark and the device is calibrated for Top of Form (TOF), whether special paper is used. Allows for correct printing on Reflective media. Note: This option is displayed only if Mark is selected for Stock Type in the Media tab. |

Diagnostics |
Whether to turn on diagnostics for troubleshooting. |

Diagnostics Directory |
Specifies the folder where debug images for the label are stored. Note: This option is available only if Diagnostics is selected. |

Send Device Options |
Whether to send device options configured in Spectrum to the device, or to use the device options configured on the device. When this check box is cleared, the options that are configured on the device are disabled in Spectrum. |

Device Contact
Spectrum can contact devices to request information. For each device, you can configure how long Spectrum waits for a response and whether Spectrum repeats the request if no response is received.
Note: These options are applied only when On-Demand Status or a business rule prompts Spectrum to request detailed status from a device. These options are not used when performing periodic device status checks.

When Spectrum requests information from a device and does not receive a response, you can specify the maximum number of times that Spectrum should repeat the request. If the maximum number of retry attempts is made without receiving a response, Spectrum reports an error. This option allows you to configure whether the number of retry attempts is managed via a global setting or a value that you customize for this device.
